It's Official: Part Two

My anatomy scan was yesterday morning bright and early. I pounded some strawberries and grapes in hopes that would get baby moving and shaking for her photo shoot and boy did that work. Little girl would not stop wiggling around but the ultrasound tech was still able to get all the measurments and show us what we were cookin. When she zoomed in on the goods I started crying. I had no gut feeling of the sex of this baby nor did I have a preference, but to finally know what was growing inside me was so overwhelming.

I'm over the moon excited to have Parker and her sister (that sounds SO weird to say) so close in age. I can't wait for all the fun they will have together doing girly things. I see many tea parties, nail polish, and dress up in our future. I know that Parker will be a great big sis. At school she always asks to see the babies (in the infant room next door) and she's very sweet with them; she caresses them and gives them toys to play with and it makes my heart all sappy knowing that she will do the same with her new baby sister.

::does the happy dance::

For the record, the OWTs were wrong. This baby's hearbeat was 134bpm. I'm carrying low. My pregnancy is totally different than it was with Parker. Chinese Gender Chart said boy. All this would lead you to believe boy, but not so ;)

Now it's time for me to buy the stuff on Etsy that I found long after Parker was a newborn and stalk Pinterest nurseries. Oh yeah, and we need to figure out a baby name. So…

Who wants to name our baby? Here's my criteria:

No traditional names
No popular names
It has to go with Parker
Nothing overly girly

I'm not picky at all. Nope…

  3. Lindsey, my coworker and I are Googling names right now haha. We're finding some very interesting ones in our unisex name search. Most notably, Mars...

    Jess, thanks :) I'm so excited to see these two little girls grow up together.
