31 Weeks

Pictureless for now. Maybe if I wasn't up until 1130pm last night painting I would have remembered to take a picture. Damn nesting.

How far along: 31 weeks. Single digit countdown, baby. Only 9 more weeks to go!

Total weight gain: 127lbs, up 15lbs

Maternity Clothes: I love Target's clearance section. Cute shirts, size medium or large, at 50% off. Sign me up.

Movement: this girl is a wild woman, The kicks and rolls and rib punches do not stop.

Food Cravings: mashed potatoes. The only thing that could make it better would be turkey gravy. If only it wasn't 100 degrees every day I might consider making a summer Thanksgiving feast.

Sleep: I'm so exhausted by the end of the day that I'm in lala land minutes after my head hits the pillow.

Milestones: Baby will gain about 1/2lb each week from now until her birthday. All five senses are up and running. She weights about 3 1/2lbs and is 16 inches long.

Best moment of the week: splashing around in the lake for endless hours on Monday. I'm really going to miss all this fun Michigan outdoorness come winter. I have a feeling that many of my maternity leave days will be spent at the hands on museums and Jungle Java in order to avoid cabin fever.

Random:
-my belly button still hasn't popped. It never did with Parker so FX that it stays in place this time around. However, my belly button ring hole looks creepy.
-my thighs BURN. Burn like I'm doing 500 Suzanne Somer's Thigh Masters each night.
-my ability to get out of bed is no longer there. I have to roll off.
-when Parker's teachers ask her where her baby sister is she says "mommy's belly." :)

So no belly pic until tonight, but for now here's proof that not everything with the bean bag purchase was a tragedy.

We scored an awesomely huge box out of the deal.

Kris snapped a picture as Parker said "say cheese!" and gave me a big hug. And this is precisely why the Duggar's have 2908 kiddos. Too precious to stop popping 'em out!

  1. Ahhh I love how they are in awe with such simple things like a box! We're getting a new refridgerator/freezer tomorrow and I can't wait to use my Pinterest pins to come up with sweet ideas to use the box for.

P.S. You look amazing and I'm super jealous you've only gained 15 lbs.

  2. New appliances, fun! You'll have to blog about your box adventures so I can steal some ideas :) I found this box maze on Pinterest and can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for the compliment:) We'll see what the next few weeks bring. I'm in dessert mode so my house is currently stocked with sweets. This could be bad.
