37 Weeks

I live in comfy dresses now even though they give me the going-to-pop-any-day-now look.

There, that's better.


How far along: 37 1/2 weeks. Full term! Baby could come any day now, though I'm not betting on it being anytime soon. I'm still feeling September 30th as the big day.

Total weight gain: 133lbs, up almost 21lbs.

Maternity Clothes: see above :)

Movement: my ribs must be padded with down feathers seeing how often this pumpkin likes to cuddle up with them. I'm still feeling a lot of movement though it's slowed way down from what it used to be. It's getting a little cramped in there.

Food Cravings: looking forward to coming home to chili in the crockpot. Nice, hearty fall meal.

Sleep: the not being able to breath thing is putting a wrench in my sleep schedule but I'm still getting a decent amount of shut eye.

Milestones: all systems are ready to go. Until she makes her big appearance she will keep on perfecting her breathing, sleeping, and sucking skills.

Best moment of the week: finally feeling prepared to meet baby. My mile long list is dwindling and I can confidentially say that I'm ready for all the wonderfulness and craziness that 2 under 2 will bring. Let's get this show on the road already.

Random:
I came back with all sort of goodies from my midwife appointment this morning:
-my MW verified that baby is in fact super duper low, hence the feeling like I'm going to give birth in a moments notice.
-my MW birthed all three of her children at 41w3d. I wonder if baby will be just as late as Parker?
-we went over my birth plan and she's pumped that I'm delivering naturally again. So nice to have supportive MWs helping me through labor and delivery.
-after months of waiting for my belly to get big enough I was finally able to put some of those photo opp pins to good use :)
