34 weeks down
How far along: 34 weeks. I seriously can't wrap my mind around the fact that I'm having a baby next month. Next month, people!
Total weight gain: 130lbs, up 18lbs. I might end up right at a total gain of 22lbs just like I was with Parker.
Maternity Clothes: My shirts are slowly becoming belly barring. Not a good look.
Movement: the pokes and jabs have been replaced by loads of slower movements. Space is becoming quite limited in the womb.
Food Cravings: I am baffled how I went my entire life without ever trying Nutella. I had it this past weekend and every single day since.
Sleep: Bed at 11pm-ish. Wake at 130am (every night like clock work) to sobs of "mooooommmmmy." Wake at 430am to more sobs of "mooooommmmmy." 7am comes way to soon every day.
Milestones: baby weighs almost 5lbs and the soft fur that once covered her body is just about gone.
Best moment of the week: hearing that precious baby heartbeat at my midwife appointment yesterday :) And baby is head down!
Random:
-this weekend starts OMGbuyanddoeverything. I have a list a mile long of things to do and buy. BuyBuyBaby will take care of blankets, bottle nipples (I am ecstatic to have Parker feed baby girl a bottle), pacis, etc. I have some headbands to make, thanks to Pinterest, so maybe that will help curb my Etsy addiction. I have a whole lot of decorating to do both in baby girl and Parker's room. I have all the newborn photos I want to take organized and printed out since I'm taking charge of that myself. I did the same with Parker and loved how they turned out. Now with much more photo taking and editing under my belt I can't wait to see the images I end up with.
-I'm on the freezer meal craze. I've been doubling up meals that freeze well so that once baby comes I don't have to think about preparing a meal while trying to keep Parker entertained while nursing baby girl. Parker is still mildly obsessed with my "boops." Nursing should be interesting.

I can't hang like I used to
2 days out of state + 8 hours of driving + 2 bridal showers + being a million months knocked up + limited to 8 ounces of coffee daily = a lot of fun and a lot of exhaustion. I pulled into our driveway at 9pm on Sunday and lights were out at 945pm. I wasn't the only one who needed to catch up on some zzzz's. Parker's 9pm bedtime was replaced with a 645pm one. Not good I thought since early bed = early rise but I was pleasently surprised when I didn't get a wake up call until 830am. Glorious.
Taking the day off work was a fabulous idea. I had no energy to spend all day in the office. Parker and I relaxed at home and enjoyed the fabulous fall-ish weather. I am so ready for fall to come in full force. Bring on the Pumpkin Spice lattes, pumpkin patches, cider mills, colorful leaves, hoodies, college football, and my new baby. But just stay like that for a while because I'm not too fond of what comes after fall.
I don't think Parker will be too fond of it either if there's too much snow for her to enjoy her swing set.
It's off again tomorrow to celebrate 3 years of marriage. How time flies!

2--9
Happy Birthday to the most awesome husband and father. The birthday celebration had an interesting turn of events today. It was a great reminder that through everything our sense of humor keeps us going strong. It's been an amazing year and I have a little teeny tiny feeling that Kris' last year in his 20's will be pretty memorable too :) Love him to the moon and back.

33 Weeks
How far along: 33 weeks. Ummm...did my belly explode this past week or what?
Total weight gain: 129lbs, up 17lbs.
Maternity Clothes: My wardrobe is slim pickings. As soon as I get home from work I change into one of the three pair of comfy shorts that actually fit me at the moment.
Movement: this girl seriously has no more room to grow based on where I feel her ninja moves.
Food Cravings: Freezer Pops, but that's typical.
Sleep: Insane nesting mode = late bedtime. I making a pact with myself to be sure to get to bed at 10pm every night starting at 36w so that I will be well rested when the feeling of knives ripping apart my stomach and lower back begin.
Milestones: baby is working on perfecting her breathing and is about 4 1/2lbs and 19 inches long.
Best moment of the week: Parker showing me where baby is by pointing to my belly :)
Random:
-my appetite is back in full force. Thanks to the wonderful world of marketing I wanted nothing more than an entire bag of Lays chips last night thanks to all the commercials I saw but of course we have zero chips. Then on the way to work this morning I passed not one but two Lays trucks. Rub it in my face why don't you.
-the crib is up (thanks, hun!), the nursery is entirely painted, and I'm in the process of putting up all the finishing touches. Slowly but surely.
-I asked Parker to make a silly face for the camera. Silly is what I got.

The Great Outdoors
After endless hours surfing the web and much anticipation, the swing set arrived.
2 guys and 10 hours later it was ready for action.
Swinging, climbing, sliding, picnic benching, this set has it all. Parker is in love.
So in love that when we leave the house she waves and says, "Bye bye, swing. See you later, swing."
We also picked the fruits of our labor this weekend. I use the term labor loosely. Choosing to be in dirt when you know your chances of encountering bugs or worms or worse is very low on the ways-I-want-to-spend-my-time list (wonder where Parker gets her girly side from). So I don't weed, I don't do whatever you're supposed to do other than spray this natural deer repellant around it and even that doesn't happen until I notice that our plants have been chomped on by our furry friends. Even with the plant and run method things still grow. Works for me.
Chomping down on snap peas. Obviously she doesn't realize this is a green vegtable or she wouldn't be eating it.
More chomping on peppers.
And zucchini. We have so many zucchini and squash that I spent quite some time on Pinterest finding yummo recipes so none go to waste. This weekend I made Zucchini Tots again with squash added in (I'm in freezer meal mode so I made a ton extra) and up tonight is an adapted version of Zucchini Rice.
Shhhh, "too loud, truck. Too loud, doggie. No barking, doggie."
Happy new week!

32 Weeks!
How far along: 32 weeks. That's five weeks people, FIVE, until I'm full term. Not that I expect to deliver anywhere close to 37 weeks but ya never know.
Total weight gain: 128lbs, up 16lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I'm hoping that I can stick with my current wardrobe. I love my big ol belly but one of the coolest things post-preg, besides actually having the baby in my arms and all that jazz, is finally going shopping again for cute, non-whale sized clothes. I will need some major wardrobe reccomendations, Just a Small Town Girl!
Movement: she's still insanly active. Her movements should slow down in the next couple weeks. The more she grows = less room to shake it in the womb. I'll miss all the jabs and pokes even though those bladder kicks cause me to pee about every 30 minutes.
Food Cravings: I made the Buffalo Ranch Chicken crockpot meal again this week. I put veggies in it this time to balance out the ranch dressing factor so it's totally healthy. And it's also very healthy to eat it straight from the fridge by the spoonful. At 10pm. Not that I do that or anything.
Sleep: I am so tired. Thank God for DVR or I would miss the entire season of Bachelor Pad.
Milestones: baby girl is practicing her skills--blinking, grabbing, making faces, looking around...how cool is all that? She's tipping the scales at about 4lbs and is measuring 17 inches.
Best moment of the week: hearing baby's heartbeat yesterday at my MW appointment :)
Random:
-I'm pretty sure the time has come to pack up my running shoes. I've been running on the weekends but last weekend really wore me out and I could barely move the rest of the day. This weekend I'll stick to speed walking and see how I do. I only made it running to 27 weeks with Parker so I'm pretty happy with going until 31 weeks this time around.
-stretch marks are still hiding. I totally lucked out and didn't get a single one with Parker so I'm hoping they stay away this time too.
-I love being pregnant and don't want the next few weeks to rush by, but boy oh boy I cannot wait to cuddle with this little one. And I seriously get teary eyed thinking about Parker meeting her little sister for the first time :) Eek!
Yesterday's full moon made for an insane day at work. The crazy seriously came out of the woodwork and it was not a good mix with my already crabby pants mood due to lack of sleep. I'm not too sure of what's on the calendar this weekend. More than likely we will hit up either the beach or the pool or both, play on the new swing set (yay yay yay!!!), we need to pick out bathroom tile and new carpet for the bedroom, and I have to take Parker to StrideRite to pick out some shoes. I have two $5 off coupons that expire soon that I must use even though I've been putting it off. Parker acts like she's slowly being murdered when she gets her foot measured. Kicking, screaming, the whole nine yards. I'm sure the StrideRite people just love us ;)
Happy weekend, all! It's sure to be a good one :)

Parker's a good helper
Good helper in that she's getting us ready for life with a newborn by waking up at 5am.
I didn't mind the up all nights or early wake up calls much when Parker was a newborn. I have many fond memories of dancing with her in the dark at 3am trying to stop her tears and laying with her as she played on her playmat.
But when you have a toddler who consistently sleeps from 930pm to 7/730am you expect that sleep pattern. Your world is turned upside down when they decide to wake up crying at 5am. I plead with her to go back to sleep. She responded by screaming and kicking. I got the point.
Who me? I cause no trouble. Never ever.
I was able to score some early morning cuddles out of the deal since she wanted to be rocked back to sleep which was lovely but I'm dragging today.
Good thing I think she's pretty darn cute.
I don't know about everyone else but this week has been dragging by for me. I've hit that point in my pregnancy where I'm utterly exhausted so getting through the work day and then coming home to a super wild child has me drained by bed time. Bring on the weekend. Parker's swing set is to be installed tomorrow and should be done by Saturday so I'm pumped. I'm sure we'll have a pumped up baby on our hands too :)
