2 days out of state + 8 hours of driving + 2 bridal showers + being a million months knocked up + limited to 8 ounces of coffee daily = a lot of fun and a lot of exhaustion. I pulled into our driveway at 9pm on Sunday and lights were out at 945pm. I wasn't the only one who needed to catch up on some zzzz's. Parker's 9pm bedtime was replaced with a 645pm one. Not good I thought since early bed = early rise but I was pleasently surprised when I didn't get a wake up call until 830am. Glorious.
Taking the day off work was a fabulous idea. I had no energy to spend all day in the office. Parker and I relaxed at home and enjoyed the fabulous fall-ish weather. I am so ready for fall to come in full force. Bring on the Pumpkin Spice lattes, pumpkin patches, cider mills, colorful leaves, hoodies, college football, and my new baby. But just stay like that for a while because I'm not too fond of what comes after fall.
I don't think Parker will be too fond of it either if there's too much snow for her to enjoy her swing set.
It's off again tomorrow to celebrate 3 years of marriage. How time flies!
That wellies are very funky ! What size of clothes is she wears and what is her shoe size ? :) I can't wait for autumn either , we will start our singing club . :) The new baby will be very exciting , can't wait either to see her pictures . :)
ReplyDeleteI love them. They were an impulse purchase last week during a rain storm. I of course had to buy the matching coat too :)
ReplyDeleteShoes are no problem to buy, she's a 5 1/2, but the clothes are tough. Depending on the brand and what it is (shirt, dress, pants) it's anywhere from 18mo to 2T.
The blog will be full of many itty bitty baby pictures don't you worry ;)
