First, the duds. The tutu was custom made from a local vendor and I scored the “1” onesie at Target, clearance style! The headband was thrown in with the tutu but Parker is in an anti-headband stage so it only stayed on for part of the party. I’m hoping that she comes back around to liking headbands ;)
Parker is also in a mama-keep-me-safe stage. When there are a lot of people around, or when Parker is in a new situation, all she wants is to be cuddled up in my arms, holding on tight with her head nestled on my chest. It is seriously the best feeling, knowing that she counts on me to keep her safe. So that’s how Parker spent most of the party—observing from the safety and comfort of my arms.
